Professional Mediation Consultancy Centre Ltd. (PMCC)



PMCC Ltd. is a training and consultancy institute established in 2009.  The two Directors (Ms Annita Mau, and Mr Denys look) are experienced practitioners and renowned trainers in various management specialties including mediation, communication and public affairs.  PMCC Ltd. was set up to provide a wide variety of training and consulting work for corporations, individuals and the public at large.


Since 2009, training has been provided by the two Directors for the following organizations (just some examples):

  1. Government departments: (HK) Police, Education Bureau, Fire Services Department, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, Civil Engineering and Development Department; (Macau) Health Department, Civil Service Bureau, Evangelical Adult Education Centre, World Trade Center; (Mainland) Judiciary, Social Service Centew, civil servants
  2. Public bodies: MTR, Hospital Authority, Housing Authority, VTC, Travel Industry Council
  3. University: Lingnan University, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Chinese University of HK, HK PolyU, City University of HK
  4. NGOs: Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Healthcare Federation, Evangelical Lutheran Church, Salvation Army, Hong Chi Society, Caritas
  5. Commercial establishments: Standard Chartered, Chinese Estate Development, Lai Sun, Baptist Hospital, Union Hospital, Lai Sun Development, Bank of China

Most of the trainees in the corporate training are of managerial and supervisory levels.  Also in the public mediation courses organized by PMCC Ltd., trainees include professionals in different fields, e.g., social workers, civil servants, lawyers, doctors, nurses, teachers and school principals, etc..


Training topics include mediation skills, negotiation skills, complaint handling skills, media interview skills, crisis communication, healthcare management and creativity in problem solving, etc..

Besides training, PMCC Ltd. also provides consultancy work in mediation, crisis and issue management and communication, lobby and government relations, community relations, and corporate image and branding, complaint management, etc..  Through training, we can produce a better work force comprising the best asset of an organization, be it profit making or non profit, and then enhance human capital and build a better city.  Hence when training is provided to NGOs, or organizatons with similar beliefs of PMCC, low price to probono work can be provided.  


PMCC becomes the corporate member of HK Mediation Accreditation Association Ltd. in August 2014.

  • Three mediation courses will be co-organized with HKFYG: 27 Feb to 14 Apr; 22 Mar to 17 May; 23 Apr to 6 June. For enquiries: 37557021. 
  • A mediation course contracted by VTC will commence from 10 Jan 2014, every Tue and Fri 2-5pm.  Venue to be announced soon.  This course needs AI/AA, pls enrol.

  • We conducted the second mediator accreditation examination for WTC Macau Arbitration Center on 15 December 2013.  20 were assessed, 14 passed. 
  • A mediation course at HKFYGCLC, Causeway Bay needs Assistant Instructors and Assistant Assessors from 4 October, 2013, please click here to enroll.  
  • An Assistant Instructor Orientation Workshop was conducted for Macau WTC Arbitration Center Panel Mediators on 17 August, which is held for a 40 hrs mediator training course from 23 Aug to 1 Sept, which is attended by 30 trainees.  40 hrs mediation course is completed with great success, 30 are trained.  30 Assistant Instructors and Assessors helped in the course, graduation dinner was held on 1 September.    
  • The National Mediator Course in HKFYGCLC will commence from 10 Aug 2013 (Sat 130-8pm); another course will commence from 23 Aug 2013 (five days in two weekends) in Macau WTC Arbitration Center, AIs and AAs are being recruited.  Since there are lessons in HK and Macau on 24 and 31 Aug, pls do not enroll in both lessons in HK and Macau on those two dates.  Pls register online for HKFYGCLC course; pls register online for Macau WTC Arbitration Center
  • A 40 hrs, in five full days, National Mediator Course was conducted for Macau Evangelical Adult Education Centre from June to July 2013.

  • We conducted a live demonstration of a mediation case at Macao WTC 16/12/2012 to prepare the participants to take the mediator accreditation examination.  A briefing was conducted on 19/3/2013 for potential candidates.  Written examination and role play simulation examinations were held on 25/4 and 28/4 respectively.  Results are satisfactory, the first batch of accredited mediators in Macao will be listed soon.  Certificate presentation ceremony was held 15/6/2013.  Mass media representatives were also present to report the milestone event in mediation of Macau.  Mediators from Hong Kong and Macau were present to share their experience.

  • A 24-hr "Train the Mediator Assessor Course" commenced from 22/2/2013, it was attended by 26 mediators.

  • A mediation training workshop was held for social workers at Qi Chuang Social Work Service Centre, Guangzhou 23/12/2012.

  • There were two training workshops for newly accredited mediators to become Assistant Instructors and Assistant Assessors held on 2/11/2012 and 5/11/2012 respectively.  About 40 mediators attended each of the two workshops.  The two workshops were solely organized by our recently trained Mediation Instructors.  Lively demonstration and in-depth discussions were used, participants were very pleased to have the training opportunities.

  • A half-day workshop was conducted for Tuen Mun District Women's Association's volunteers on 29/92012, mediation and presentation skills were featured. 
  • We conducted a one day workshop for Macau's Administration and Civil Service Bureau on "Using Mediation Skills to handle Internal Complaints" 7/9/2012.  It was attended by a few senior officials and middle management, who found the workshop very useful. 
  • HKFYGCLC will co-organize a 40 hrs mediation course 31/8/2012 – 30/11/2012 with PMCC, it is a CEF course. After successful completion of the course and passing the examination, trainees can apply on their own for the National Mediator Certificate. Pre-course seminar is on 15/8/2012.   • 40 hrs National Awarded Mediator Course is conducted from 15/9/2012 – 3/11/2012; incorporating a 19 hrs Top Up Course from 6/10/2012 – 3/11/2012. Pre-course seminar is on 24/8/2012.   • A top up course comprising 19 hours will be held for those who have completed 40 hrs mediation training organized by other mediation training organizations from 21/7/2012. Students will join our National awarded mediator course from lesson 8 to lesson 11, then attend the written and role play exams.   • The first Train-the-Mediator-Trainer Course was completed on 28/8/2012.  Ten mediators graduated from the course and have started their training practice.  Course flyer
