The Hong Kong Mediation Alliance is a non-profit making organization which was inaugurated on 17 March 2012, and marks a new movement in mediation in Hong Kong.  We gather together committed and capable mediators and serve the community at large by helping to solve disputes in various areas through providing affordable and professional mediation services.

We are committed

1. To promoting mediation to the general public in Hong Kong, in order to facilitate a harmonious and prosperous society
   
2. To enhancing public awareness of the advantages of mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method, so that conflicts and disputes are resolved by mediationTo providing training to people who are interested in mediation in general, as well as specific targets who would like to become mediators
3. To further developing Panel Mediators to be specialized in specific areas of disputes
   
4. To gathering together people who are interested in providing mediation service for the general public of Hong Kong and the Mainland
   
5. To hosting specific panels on HK Mediation Alliance’s own or on co-operative terms with other organizations with similar objectives
   
6. To referring Panel Mediator to potential users of mediation services which are affordable (including pro-bono) and of professional standard
   
7. To gathering together people who are concerned with the development of mediation in Hong Kong
   
8. To liaising with individuals, and organizations in mediation or related fields in Hong Kong, Mainland and worldwide with a view to promote mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method
